Dr. Ivana Milojević’s work explores how societies imagine, teach, and design futures — with a strong focus on culture, education, gender, peace, and social transformation. She bridges rigorous research with practical foresight methods to support individuals and organizations in creating meaningful, preferred futures.

Biography

Ivana Milojević, a social scientist, and futurist, is the Director of Metafuture, and Metafuture School. She previously held academic positions in Australia at the University of Queensland – where she was also awarded her PhD in Education – and the University of the Sunshine Coast; in Serbia, at the Centre for Interdisciplinary, and Multidisciplinary Studies, University of Novi Sad; in Taiwan, at the Graduate Institute of Futures Studies, Tamkang University; and in the UK, at the University of Edinburgh. She was also a Senior Futures Thinking and Foresight Specialist at the Asian Development Bank and a Senior Researcher/Head of the Brunei Futures Initiative at the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies, Brunei Darussalam. She is the author of fifteen books and over eighty academic book chapters, refereed journal articles, and essays.
