Jennifer Jayanti Fitzgerald, 1959-2000.  Jennifer was a lawyer, futurist and researcher with extensive experience working as an advocate for people with disabilities.  For a number of years Jennifer worked at Queensland Advocacy Incorporated, a systems advocacy organization which advocates for the needs,

rights and lives of people with disability.  Her work there focused on the impact of a range of bio-ethical issues on the lives of people with disability.  Jennifer wrote and spoke extensively on bio-ethical issues,

ethical futures and end of life decision making.  She authored the book, Include Me In:  Disability, Rights and the Law in Queensland, (QAI, 1994), she was joint editor with Sohail Inayatullah of the book Transcending Boundaries: Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar's Theories of Individual and Social Transformation (Gurukula Press, Maleny, Queensland, Australia, 1999). Forthcoming is: Women and Tantra.
